Firstpoint has been working closely with client, The Bartender Hire Company, to distribute 3,000 Jameson Whiskey cocktail kits across the UK in time for St Patrick’s Day ‘virtual’ celebrations!
Like many businesses throughout the pandemic, cocktail event specialist, The Bartender Hire Company had to quickly diversify by moving its business model online. Traditionally supplying highly professional cocktail waiters and bartender hire for all occasions from garden parties, and hen dos through to large corporate events, following the Covid outbreak, founder Lewis Spindlove, created The Bar from Afar!
Now, in their brand new studio space and dedicated cocktail bar, they are able to offer remote cocktail classes for parties of all shapes and sizes. Run by a pro cocktail bartender covering a range of themes, this new initiative has proved to be so popular that the Bartender Company has delivered a class almost every night for the past year!
Their latest venture comes with the arrival of St Patrick’s Day on Wednesday 17th March, in partnership with famous whiskey producer Jamesons. With traditional celebrations not able to take place, and everyone having to celebrate from the comfort of their own homes, Jamesons, with the help of their marketing agency, Pernod-Ricard, decided to run their own virtual cocktail classes in honour of this famous annual celebration of Irish culture!
With over 3,000 people signing up to the master cocktail-making class, Jamesons enlisted the help of the Bartender Hire Company to pack, distribute and deliver the 3,000 cocktail kits across the UK. Each kit is made up of Jamesons miniatures, a selection of shorts and a mini tumbler, everything needed to make the perfect cocktail.
The challenge for Firstpoint was to deliver the kits in various quantities, some as single units, others in multiples of 10, 50, 80 and 100, to thousands of addresses across many of the major cities of the UK, whilst planning around stock levels and timings of packing. With a large fleet of vehicles of all sizes, Firstpoint were able to route multi-drop deliveries to selected cities, often with very little notice.
The final 500 kits will be delivered directly to Jamesons warehouse this week, just in time for the all-important St Patrick’s Day celebrations!
