We are so proud to announce that Firstpoint has achieved the Investors In People (IIP) GOLD award and has been ranked as the very best company in the Transport & Storage industry.
In our Staff Spotlight posts we usually highlight one fantastic team member. But in honour of our new GOLD accreditation we’d like to celebrate all of our incredible Firstpoint colleagues for helping us to reach this amazing achievement.
Three years ago, we decided that Investors In People (IIP) was the right framework to underpin the continuous improvement journey for our team and customers. Whilst being proud to attain the IIP Standard award in 2020, we were laser-focused on driving the company to a higher level.
The IIP program is recognised all over the world, and the GOLD standard is only given to organisations that demonstrate a clear commitment to their people. In fact, only 17% of IIP accredited organisations achieve the GOLD standard, so to secure this and the no.1 spot in our sector in three short years is really quite something.
The IIP assessment measures how much a company is leading, supporting and improving their people through anonymous surveys and interviews with the team. We’d love to share a few highlights from the report that came with our GOLD award:
