FirstPoint Logistics are delighted to have been awarded both ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 certifications, internationally recognised standards for Quality and Environmental management systems respectively.

By achieving our ISO9001:2015 certification, FirstPoint Logistics is able to demonstrate to customers and suppliers that its systems and processes meet the high standards set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO)

To gain the ISO9001:2015 certification, FirstPoint Logistics demonstrated its dedication and commitment to meeting its customers’ needs, operating efficient management processes, delivering consistent good quality service, whilst investing in its employees and their continual development.

In addition, gaining the ISO14001:2015 certification not only echoes the company’s high standard and commitment to quality control but also our continual commitment to measuring and improving our environmental impact.

As a leading transport and logistics company specialising in both UK and European dedicated vehicle movements, we have identified our potential carbon footprint and are aware of the need to implement controls for reducing this where possible.

Operations Director Duncan Wilmot said: “the gaining of these certifications re-affirms to our customers and stakeholders our commitment to quality of service whilst recognising our responsibility to sustainability and the company’s environmental impact.”

Firstpoint are now busily working towards ISO27001 accreditation, supporting its existing management of information security, which is planned for completion in Spring 2020.
